Chapman recorded his narration in 1986, a full 26 years before release; the surviving Pythons only agreed to participate if the film stayed completely unhinged.
This was the first time all surviving Pythons collaborated post-Chapman's death—ironically on a film about his refusal to be definitive about anything, including himself.
