A faceless dumpling lover and her cheekless bestie blast off to find—cheeks? Absolutely unhinged.
Pushu Pushu lives leisurely on the Pushy Star. One day, when he was eating his favorite dumplings, the area around his mouth became dirty, and was wiping it with a towel... Suddenly, A creature named Nyu appeared! Surprised Pushu Pushu was, but there is no cheek. When Nyu appeared, her cheeks flew off into space. The troubled Pushu Pushu is encouraged by Nyu, and the two set off on an adventure in search of Cheeks on a rocket.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Director Takaharu Shimizu previously worked on Crayon Shin-chan, which explains the unhinged energy. Hiroshi Tamaki (Nyu) is a massive star slumming in puppet cheek cinema.
The 'cheek' obsession taps into Japanese kawaii culture's fixation on soft, squeezable features—taken literally to cosmic extremes. This is basically moe anthropomorphism for facial anatomy.
