Bayu, who has not returned home for a long time due to being busy with work, finally comes back and reunites with Ajeng, his younger sister. Ajeng, who is ambitious about becoming a dancer, remains focused on pursuing her dreams; while Bayu is overwhelmed by his sorrow. He hides his pain by asserting his superiority as the eldest son in a Javanese family toward Ajeng. Not long after, Ajeng receives an opportunity to perform in New York. Unfortunately, the opportunity coincides with the seventh-day memorial of their late mother. Bayu and Ajeng argue over Ajeng’s dreams and Bayu’s unresolved grief, creating a new conflict within the family.
