Sven and Karin meet during a train trip to Abisko National Park in northern Sweden. But when arriving, Sven is instantly attracted to beautiful Sami girl Sissel. Karin is hearbroken, while the brutal Sami boy Nila – himself in love with Sissel – is mad with jealousy.
