This was originally titled 'No Way Out of Texas' because it was in Houston, but WWE later dropped the Texas part for future events. The 'In Your House' branding meant these were cheaper PPVs — hence the dinky set.
This show captures peak Attitude Era before WWE went public and cleaned up — the reckless stunts, edgy content, and genuine unpredictability would be unthinkable in today's corporate WWE landscape.
