The Disney ride that got cut from the movie—now it's a conspiracy fever dream.
A diegetic history of the secret Plus Ultra society from Disney's Tomorrowland movie. Animated by Pixar artists, narrated by Maurice LeMarche as Orson Welles, directed by Brad Bird, and written by Brad Bird, Damon Lindelof, and Jeff Jensen. Originally previewed in an unfinished form at the Walt Disney Pictures panel at D23 Expo 2019, first released in two halves on the Take Me To Tomorrowland promotional website. Originally intended to be placed within the film as a multimedia dark-ride attraction when young Frank Walker plunges beneath "it's a small world", it was cut and then appended as a pre-film short in a limited number of cinemas during its theatrical release. The option to play this short before the film is presented on the physical home video releases of the film.
