Norway's most iconic pirate finally gets his diamond heist — with jungle bridges and villain camp.
A little boy is fleeing through the jungle. His name is Marco, and he is Pinky's little brother. Pinky and Sunniva have set off to try to find him. At the same time, Captain Sabeltann himself has sailed from the Invisible Land. For years, he has been searching for the Magic Diamond. Now rumors lead him to Shangri La, a remote South Sea beach. Deep in the jungle, on the other side of the suspension bridges, lurks a deadly enemy: Maga Kahn, the evil prince of the jungle, and his queen, Sirikit. The stage is set for a nerve-racking duel.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Kaptein Sabeltann is Norway's longest-running original children's character, created by Terje Formoe in 1989; this 2002 film was his first cinematic outing after years of stage shows and TV.
The 'Invisible Land' (Den Usynlige Øy) and Sabeltann's ship 'Den Sorte Dame' are direct imports from Formoe's theatrical universe, complete with original cast members reprising roles.
