Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Cellphone Investigator 7 was a 2008-2009 Japanese tokusatsu series where agents used phones to transform—this episode's mundane lunch crisis subverts that entire premise.
The 'first dream of the new year' (hatsuyume) is traditionally auspicious in Japan, making this title deeply ironic for an episode about hunger and cyber disaster.
