HIROYI IS NOT DEAD! :) If you keep watching after the credits there's a scene in which Tomoki stands at the spot overlooking the city where he and Hiyori first met, and behind him a ray of light shines down with white feathers falling from the sky, when he looks he smiles happily, and as the screen fades out, the sound of Hiyori's bell ornaments are heard, implying she somehow survived. Thanks for taking the time to read this :)
