Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The entire Sandler family stars: Adam, Jackie, Sunny, and Sadie (who plays Torah). This is basically a bat mitzvah home video with Netflix money.
The film quietly revolutionizes Jewish teen representation by treating the bat mitzvah as universal coming-of-age rather than exotic spectacle—no explanatory subtitles for Yiddish, just lived-in specificity.

Reactions from the web
Love that Adam Sandler has basically got to this point where he can just go "I'm doing a movie with my wife and kids" and studios go "ye ok how much U want?"

One of my friends was the Adam Sandlers assistant for the shoot. She had nothing but nice things to say about the whole family . :) Its nice when celebs are nice.
